Home Ownership Is Important

I have a very Low credit score due to a recent divorce. Prior to the divorce my credit rating was over 725 since then it has plummeted to under 520. I have cash on hand, am a US veteran and have yet to use my VA Loan.

Im also a weekend carpenter and have a Full time job with the US government earning over $40,ooo.oo per yr. I currently rent an apartment but am eager to find a way to get into a fixer upper and make it my own.

Given all of this can I buy a house?
