Sample Letter To Real Estate Owner

The elements of a good Realtor sample letter to real estate property owners are pretty simple.  Like this sample letter, for example. Like it, yours should contain the following:

  •  your full name, address, and phone number(s)
  • other contact information of your choice
  • be as grammatically correct as possible without sounding unnatural, and
  • spell checked to be free of misspelled words.

Your letters to real estate property owners should also have lots of white space; short sentences and paragraphs.  For example, nearly every paragraph on this page, and in this sample letter, is 3 sentences or less.  Also, use bullets whenever possible to break up your marketing message to help your reader better comprehend it.

Your marketing message will lose some of it's power and effectiveness if you deviate from these guidelines too much!

If you can mail letters you can get listings and make sales!  It’s a simple strategy, but your real estate marketing letters must be compelling enough to get the most desirable response; whether that’s a phone call, a listing appointment, an appointment to show properties, or anything else it might be!

And if you're going for the ultimate most wanted response, an actual listing or sale, your letter must be outstanding. Hint! Most FREE cookie cutter letters won't cut the mustard if you are competing for a $500,000.00 listing.

This FREE sample letter is an exception, as I used it and others to secure lots of listings.

There's a big upside to mailing pre-written letters. Many are time tested and can be effective in any state, county, or city in the country. Once you have them, and a system in place for printing, signing and mailing them you can mail hundreds in a matter of minutes.

So, instead of laboring for hours trying to bang out one good real estate marketing letter you can actually be mailing out hundreds of them.  And there are lots of good ones available at reasonable costs. So, affordability is not a barrier.

Exceptional letters can generate a steady stream of warm, responsive prospects - month after month; all interested in one thing, listing and selling their properties or wanting to buy something. They're an agent's dream come true!

If you buy into the philosophy that repeated mailings are paramount to a successful letter writing campaign then go with a letter series, one with sequential letters for repeated mailings.

On the other hand, if you're not interested in repeat contacts go with a single letter approach. There are pros and cons to both, but ultimately the choice comes down to your personal preference. Both approaches are effective!

If you're a new agent a real estate letter writing campaign it can help you get off to a good start. You'll end up contacting a lot of "potential" buyers and sellers in a relatively short period of time.

Similarly, if you've been licensed for a while, but don't have the volume of business that you want a letter writing campaign can supercharge your marketing results.

It's all about contacts. The more people you market your services to the more prospects you’ll "close".

Lot’s of “just listed” signs dotted throughout your community are a few letters a way. Your signs will give you instant credibility and help you generate even more listings and sales.

Everybody likes doing business with a winner and a good real estate letter campaign can help make you one.
